Cleaning the black, brown and green stuff on the edges of a bathtub?
How do I clean and prevent the formation of black, brown or green stuff on the edges of the bathtub and can that be prevented.
There are new scrubbies that you can get now, but I can't think of the name of the darn things. They are blue with a white layer on one side, I think made by Mr. Clean. I took 20yr old scum off of a bathroom shower a while back (not in my own house, thank god!) and it made short work of it. I also used a bathroom and tile cleaner made by Zep (Home Depot or Lowe's), that stuff is amazing. I clean my bathtub and shower a couple times a week with Comet Bathroom Cleaner and never have a problem.
