I have a set of dueling pistols labeled A. Hamilton and A. Burr authenticated repros and would like more info.
They have been authenticated by the American Historical Society. Are number 948 in a series of ?. Any information would be greatly appreciated as to the worth since I've exhausted other sources.
You probably have a replica made for the 175th anniversary of the fatal duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr.
The incident took place on July 11, 1804.

Someone on Gunbroker.com is selling a set for $3000.
There were 1200 produced and it is authenticated by the **U.S.** Historical Society, not the American Historical Society.
